Searsmont United Methodist Church

🎹 Did you know? We have a pianist every Sunday!

Every week, Sybil fills our worship with music that inspires, touches our hearts, and helps us lift our voices in praise. Her music has become such a beautiful part of who we are at Searsmont United Methodist Church.

And there’s something else happening here…

Our church family has been growing steadily over the year—from our youngest 8-month-old “church member” to our wonderful and wise senior members!

We are grateful for a church filled with music, laughter, faith, friendship, and people of all generations.

Come experience the music.
Come meet the people.
Come worship with us.

Come and experience the life and joy of Searsmont United Methodist Church!

We’d love to see you this Sunday!

Tomorrow!!! Saturday June 27, 4pm
VoXX at Searsmont United Methodist Church

The acapella chamber choir, VoXX - Voice of Twenty, comes to Searsmont for the first time with an exciting concert of vocal music which spans over five centuries of repertoire from the Medieval to the contemporary. Works by Byrd, Cornysh, Josquin, Lassus, Gibbons, Purcell, Morales, Gjeilo, Mehrmann, and more will be presented in Searsmont's village church (Searsmont United Methodist Church). Currently directed by composer John Mehrmann, the group has performed primarily in the Midcoast region for over twenty years, driven by their passion for singing and enthusiasm for discovering new music.

Parking is available in behind the church which is located next door to Fraternity Village Store.

Live Outside the Library is made free by the Onion Foundation, the Friends of Searsmont Library, and fundraising by the library's Board of Trustees.
