🫐 The Union Fair is HERE! 🫐

Come visit the Methodist Café at the Union Fair, August 5–9!

You'll find us tucked away at the end of the Exhibition Hall—and trust us, we're worth the walk.

We're serving up all kinds of delicious treats and refreshing drinks made with Maine wild blueberries. 🫐 From sweet to refreshing, we've got something that'll make your taste buds celebrate!

🏆 Our blueberry Pie even earned a Blue Ribbon last year!

So come hungry, bring your friends, and leave with a smile... and maybe a blue tongue!

Tomorrow!!! Saturday June 27, 4pm
VoXX at Searsmont United Methodist Church

The acapella chamber choir, VoXX - Voice of Twenty, comes to Searsmont for the first time with an exciting concert of vocal music which spans over five centuries of repertoire from the Medieval to the contemporary. Works by Byrd, Cornysh, Josquin, Lassus, Gibbons, Purcell, Morales, Gjeilo, Mehrmann, and more will be presented in Searsmont's village church (Searsmont United Methodist Church). Currently directed by composer John Mehrmann, the group has performed primarily in the Midcoast region for over twenty years, driven by their passion for singing and enthusiasm for discovering new music.

Parking is available in behind the church which is located next door to Fraternity Village Store.

Live Outside the Library is made free by the Onion Foundation, the Friends of Searsmont Library, and fundraising by the library's Board of Trustees.

🌿 Combined Worship Service This Sunday! 🌿

This Sunday, June 14, at 10:00 AM, the congregations of People's United Methodist Church and Searsmont United Methodist Church will gather together for a special combined worship service.

We are grateful for the opportunity to worship alongside our sister church. There is joy in coming together as one body in Christ—lifting our voices in praise, sharing fellowship, and celebrating God's goodness together.

Following worship, we will enjoy an Indoor Picnic with food, conversation, and friendship. We hope you'll stay and join us!

On May 17, Searsmont gathered together with the community for a time of prayer.

Many of our faith family from Union came, along with members of the Searsmont church and neighbors from across the community. Together, we prayed for healing, peace, strength, and comfort during these difficult days.

The audio quality may not always be perfect, but we invite you to listen to our prayers—and to continue praying with us for our town and all who are hurting.
