Welcome to the most exciting Church around. God is taking us from being the ordinary church to the extraordinary church. It will change your life. Rev. L. Wagner. A.

I would love to personally invite you to worship with us. James Long was called as the first pastor. During 1911, a building 30’x50’ was built on some land given by R. Since the beginning, Catawba Valley Baptist Church has had many wonderful pastors such as, James Long 1910, C. Lineburger 1912, C. Caldwell 1913, J. P. Hagaman 1915, M. I. Harris 1918, H. Smith 1920, H. S. Benfield 1921, W. H. Walker 1925, W. B. Sprinkle 1926, at which time the church voted to have preaching services twice a month, on the first and third Sundays. J. G. Benfield was called in 1930, J. Payne 1935, Carl Hemphill 1938.
