Greetings friends and fellow members. Our guest speaker for the September 10th meeting is Nate Terrell.

Nate has been a resident of Carteret County since 2006. He is married to his beautiful wife, Melody Terrell. Together they have three wonderful children...Nathaniel, Dysen, and Makenzie Terrell.

Nate was originally born and raised in a small town in Mebane, North Carolina, where he graduated from Eastern Alamance High School.

Nate has been employed at S. T. Wooten for 16 years, as a logistics and production specialist.

He grew up in a small hometown Baptist church as a kid, but never really knew the Lord. Nate first came to truly know the Lord in 2006, and was baptized in Jesus name.

Nate has been attending Glad Tidings Church for a little over three years.

I encourage everyone to come out and hear Nate's testimony, share in some good food and awesome fellowship. The meeting starts at 6:00pm in the rear banquet hall of Cox's Family Restaurant. Come out and join us. Please bring a friend.

Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ. Sorry for the delay in posting the highlights of the August meeting. Believe me, it was a glorious time in the Lord. Unfortunately, our minister of music wasn't presented. The meeting was hosted by our VP, Big Earl Willis. Our membership chairman spoke on the various charity drives the holiday season and was proud to announce that four members had already donated. This season we are raising funds for "The Family Promise Center, $300.00," Martha's Mission, $300.00," and "The Miriam House, $300.00."
Mrs. Amanda Nichols surprised us with her personal testimony and struggles, and how she ended up serving at Hope Mission.
Up next was Chaplain Jarvis, who just returned from his missionary trips. He spoke about how God had reminded him who was in charge of every aspect of our lives. God is moving in all parts of the world.
Our guest speaker, Jackie Matlock shared a wonderful personal testimony. He reminded us that without God can we truly be happy and that you can never walk away from God.
Our next meeting will be September 10th at 6:00pm. As always we will be meeting in the rear banquet room of Cox's Family Restaurant. Please join us. Bring a friend. God is good.

The Crystal Coast Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship "Year of Giving," as our nation celebrates its 250th birthday! 2026 Charity Drives

THIS YEAR'S RECIPIENTS ARE:
The Family Promise Center $300+
Martha's Mission $300
Miriam House $300

If every member donates a minimum of $36.00, we can easily fulfill these three giving goals.

Think about it...for the costs of a half a tank of gas, or taking your sweetie out to dinner or buying that one item you really didn't need, you can help fulfill the needs of, not one, but THREE different charitable organizations.

I challenge you to GIVE generously this year. Your $36.00 will change the lives of so many.

Food for Thought
Corinthians 9:7: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver".

This verse emphasizes that the attitude behind a gift matters more than the amount. Paul wrote this to encourage the Corinthian church to give generously and joyfully out of gratitude, rather than out of obligation or guilt. The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let this holiday season be bountiful for yourself, your family and for those in need around you. Amen!

Gentlemen and fellow brothers in Christ. We're proud to introduce our August speaker. His name is Jackie Matlock, an Oklahoma native and program manager with Hope Is Alive. He's passionate about walking alongside men on their recovery journey and helping them discover hope, healing, and purpose. He gives the credit of his good works to Christ for showing him the path to redemption. Jackie believes in the power of faith, accountability, and authentic community to transform lives. He states "It’s an honor to encourage others as they rebuild their lives and pursue a brighter future.”
Please come out and join us for Jackie's testimony, a night of praise and worship and good food. We will also be discussing our Christmas Charity Drives for this year. The next meeting of the Crystal Coast FGBMFAMERICA will be August 13th @ 6:00pm, in the rear banquet hall of Cox's Family Restaurant. Love the Lord, and bring a friend.

Dear fellow believers, I am compelled to express my profound appreciation for the extraordinary meeting we had tonight. The Holy Spirit's presence was palpable from the beginning. We were privileged to feature 'The New Nelson Singers' from Harker's Island, who delivered outstanding performances of classic southern gospel songs and contemporary music. Pastor Nelson's words infused our hearts with the promise of Christ's return.

Brother Kevin Hunter shared a powerful message commemorating the 250th anniversary of our nation. President Brad Golden addressed monthly business, congratulating us on providing our promised donation to the Miriam House, which elevated our chapter to a new bronze sponsor status.

Our guest speaker and missionary worker, Robbie McMakin, shared a heartfelt testimony of his journey to Christ and challenged each member present to reflect on their commitment in the weeks ahead.

Please note that our annual Christmas Charity Drives commence next month, with further details to be announced. We look forward to seeing you in August.

Dear fellow servants of Christ Jesus, I am pleased to introduce our speaker for the July meeting of the Crystal Coast Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship. Please join me in welcoming Robbie McMakin, who introduces himself as follows:
My name is Robbie McMakin, and my wife Jenny and I call Beaufort, NC our home. Our shared passion for Jesus Christ drives us to follow the Holy Spirit's guidance. Having served God in various roles both domestically and internationally, we now feel led to serve in Beaufort and surrounding areas. Jenny's passion lies in crafting short devotions and stories, as well as connecting with people and gaining new insights that enrich her soul (John 1:16). I am a man of joy and humor, committed to God's Word, and I find great fulfillment in discipling others and building meaningful relationships over a cup of coffee. As Jesus said, "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you..." (John 15:16).
We cordially invite you to our next meeting on July 9th at 6:00 pm at Cox's Family Restaurant in Morehead City, where we will gather for praise, worship, and testimonies, and enjoy great food.

We express heartfelt appreciation to the Lord for another remarkable meeting of the Crystal Coast Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship, where God's divine presence was palpably felt. The gathering was enriched by delectable food and warm fellowship. The musical talents of Brother Paul Kirkland and his group beautifully initiated the evening with Spirit-filled southern gospel music, hailing from Harker's Island. In his fill-in capacity as Chaplain, Kevin Hunter imparted a profound message rooted in the Gospel of John. The evening's highlight was Desmond Murrell's compelling testimony. We enthusiastically invite you to be part of our Christ-centered business fellowship. Mark your calendars for our next meeting on June 11th, 2026, at Cox's Family Restaurant's rear banquet room, where the fellowship and food will start at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Your presence matters, and you're encouraged to bring a friend.
