The wife of his son, was found unresponsive at their home this evening and has died.

We lift up in prayer Joann and George for the loss of their beloved dog Maxie yesterday. He was the last in their Bichon family of dogs. He lived to around 16 1/2 years old. Thankful to have met him earlier this month.

Some exciting news!!!!

1) we have a brand new email that I can manage from my phone and work

2) I just finished the Sept newsletter and for a first try using a template, it’s not too shabby. There are some pictures and even a remember when from our church back in 1962.

3) The website work will start tomorrow. I hope to have this up and running by middle of Sept.

4) We are officially on TikTok under Moosic Presbyterian Church (I already posted a picture of the prayer shawl ministry).

Hello everyone ! I hope you enjoyed Sharon’s worship and preaching this past Sunday. I will be back at Moosic until Sept 27th when I am running overseas. And after that (unless I am sick) I will be there every Sunday (unless it snows six feet)
Preaching the good news and Old Testament stories. (Unless I forget my notes).

I have a zoom meeting with a musician colleague about starting a website with google this Thursday and I also found valuable information from another colleague about using Wordpress to establish a domain name, an email and website itself.

I hope to have the new email and website up and running sometime in the first half of September.

I must confess that it was I who turned on the sanctuary lights Sunday after worship because Marty Hart’s granddaughter Mallory wanted to show the guest she brought with her the sanctuary. In the back of my brain, I was assuming that Walter would do a last-minute check, but since we usually have worship downstairs, he really doesn’t need to check the upstairs for anything.

So yes, I thought the British were coming by sea so every lantern and the sanctuary was lit.

But lo and behold! Pam Piragas took the midnight ride down street and was shouting from her horse that the lights are on the lights are on the lights are on!! She immediately got into contact with some folks to go up and check to make sure nothing too fishy was going on. Pam will get a special thank you treat from me as a token of my thanks. I
