👑 If Jesus is truly Lord, then He cannot simply have a place in your life. He must be the one leading it. And He desires a real relationship with you, where you know Him, spend time with Him, and follow Him.

Colossians 1 reminds us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the Creator and sustainer of all things, and the head of His Church. Everything exists through Him, by Him, and for Him.

That means the Church was never meant to revolve around personalities, influence, or human power. Christ alone is the head. And where Christ is truly leading, people will not be pointed toward people. They will be led to love, honor, and follow Jesus more deeply.

The goal of the Christian life is not simply bigger platforms, more knowledge, or outward success. The goal is maturity in Christ. More of Him formed in us.

The question of “Who He Is” is settled in Scripture. But is it settled in your heart?

Serving Team Highlight: our amazing Parking Team! 🚗

Rain or shine, early mornings and busy Sundays, they serve with joy, kindness, and intentionality to help every person feel welcomed before they ever walk through the doors.

Their service may happen in the parking lot, but the impact reaches far beyond it. Every golf cart ride across campus, every wave given, and every early morning helps people feel seen, welcomed, and ready to encounter Jesus.

Thank you to every member of our Parking Team for faithfully serving our church each week. We are grateful for the way you reflect the love of Christ through every act of service! 💛

🤍 To know God rightly is to know Him as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
As we walk through our Knowing God series, we’re being reminded that the Trinity is not just a doctrine to understand, but the very nature of the God we worship. Trinitarian worship draws us into relationship with the Father through the Son and by the Spirit, shaping both our hearts and our church community.

Here are four ways trinitarian worship shapes corporate worship:
💛 Worship is relational.
💛 Worship is participatory.
💛 Worship is transformational.
💛 Worship proclaims the Gospel.

When we gather together as the church, we are being formed by what we behold. Corporate worship is more than singing songs. It is an invitation to behold the triune God and be shaped into His image together.

👉 You can be close to the things of God and still not truly know God as Father.
In Luke 15, Jesus reveals the heart of the Father through both sons. One ran far away. One stayed near outwardly, yet still missed intimacy with the Father. The warning is clear: church attendance, knowledge, and proximity to spiritual things cannot replace a relationship with God through Jesus.

Throughout our Knowing God series, we’ve seen that doctrine matters because knowing God rightly changes everything. This week reminds us that the Father is not distant or unwilling. He is compassionate, full of grace, and ready to receive sinners who come to Him.

The Father still runs toward prodigals. The question is whether we truly know Him.

Thank you to Dr. Brian Saxon for preaching a powerful message this past Sunday!
