God designed His Church to be more than a place we attend. Through faithful leadership, biblical teaching, and serving one another, the Church is meant to equip believers, build up the body of Christ, and lead us toward spiritual maturity.

Every believer has been given spiritual gifts, but those gifts were never intended to be kept to ourselves.

In His generosity, Jesus has graciously equipped every believer with gifts through the Holy Spirit, not for our own benefit or recognition, but for the good of others and the building up of His Church.

As we concluded Missions Week this past Sunday, we were reminded that every believer has a part to play in the mission of the Church. God has given each of us gifts to faithfully steward as we serve one another, strengthen the Church, and make Christ known in our communities, across our nation, and around the world.

Our gifts may look different, but each one has a purpose in the body of Christ. May we never neglect what we’ve been given, but instead respond to the generosity of our Savior with grateful hearts and lives devoted to His mission.

You don’t have to go far to see that lostness is a universal problem. In fact, it’s the world’s greatest problem. 🌎

Romans 3 reminds us that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. No one is righteous on their own, but through Jesus Christ, God has made a way for sinners to be forgiven and reconciled to Him. The gospel is the only solution.

As we kicked off Missions Week this past Sunday, Dr. Paul Chitwood reminded us of the urgency of sharing the gospel. We know the solution to the world’s greatest problem, and we must never forget why we’re here: to make Christ known among those in our communities and around the world who desperately need to hear the good news.

🌎🔥 It’s officially Missions Week!

What an incredible way to kick off a week focused on God’s mission around the world! We are incredibly thankful to have had Dr. Paul Chitwood from the International Mission Board (IMB) with us this past Sunday at our Central Campus as he shared a powerful message about the World’s Greatest Problem: Lostness. Dr. Chitwood challenged us to keep our hearts focused on reaching the great commission, because we know the solution that problem! We’re incredibly thankful for his ministry and for the opportunity to hear from him!

As we begin Missions Week, we’re reminded that every week is missions week. God has called each of us to live on mission every day, taking the gospel wherever He has placed us.
