Today, we celebrate 50 years of the man behind the mantle.

Pastor Torrey, you have spent so much of your life seeing what others could not yet see, calling purpose out of people, believing in what God placed within them, and carrying a vision long before everyone else could see it clearly.

Because you kept saying yes, many of us found the courage to say yes too.

But today, we don’t only honor the pastor who leads us, the preacher who pours into us, or the visionary who keeps building. We honor the man, the one who has carried more than we may ever know, given more than could ever be repaid, and continued to show up with faith through it all.

We hope that today, you feel what you have made so many others feel: seen, believed in, valued, and deeply loved, not because of what you do for us, but simply because of who you are.

Thank you for seeing something in us. Thank you for giving God your yes. And thank you for allowing that yes to become a place where so many of us could grow.

Happy 50th Birthday, Pastor Torrey. We don’t just appreciate what you carry, we treasure the man carrying it.
