About 2/3 of abortions in SC are provided through the internet or by phone through the tele-health industry that provides the prescription of mifepristone (an abortifacient). The State of Louisiana has passed several laws limiting abortion in their state. They are contesting the business model of the telehealth industry's ability to provide abortifacients without an in-person visit with a medical provider. Louisiana citizens have voted to limit abortions in their state. If the tele-health industry succeeds in defense of their business model, it will likely impact the ability of any state to limit tele-health abortions. I believe the court will hear arguments this Wednesday.
We need to earnestly pray that the Federal appeals court would rule against the lucrative abortion industry and its practices. We stand as a voice for those without a voice and take our plea to The Father, seeking His intercession for the unborn and unwanted.
