This past Sunday, August 30, 2026, was a joy-filled day! We gathered to worship the Lord through fellowship, song, the Word, Communion, baptism, and 6 new members joined our church family by statement of faith/letter.

Praise God for Jeff Gauvin and Jaylen Kluge who professed their faith in Christ by baptism. The sweetest moment was when Jaylen, while stepping down into the baptism pool, asked Preacher Bobby, "Is this holy water?" We rejoice with all of heaven in their salvation and commitment to Christ!

We were just as thrilled to welcome Miriam Backhaus, Tammy Murff, Kyle Haight, Zach Roberteon, Jeff Rose, & Greg Scruggs into the CBC Family! What a blessing each of you are. We look forward to serving the Lord alongside each of you.

On Friday, July 10th Glenn Parris went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Glenn was a longtime member of Care Baptist Church who served as a deacon for over 10 years. Although unable to attend services the past few years, Glenn remaind a staple of the church family. His big smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited in eternity. Prayers for and condolences to Glenn's son Kenny, his 2 grandsons, and his siblings.
