Across the Oklahoma District, this summer has been filled with opportunities for youth and children to hear God’s word and grow in faith. We pray the seeds planted are fruitful and thank God for the staff and volunteers across the state who have helped (and continue to help) with VBS programs this summer!

Does God really listen to our prayers? If you missed Pastor Brakhage's video we posted yesterday, he gives a great explanation to whether or not our prayer changes God's mind (we'll link it in the comments). And God tells us this in His word: our minds and prayers are severely limited compared to what God knows and wills but the Spirit Himself intercedes on our behalf.

Join us each week as we pray for one of our Oklahoma District LCMS Congregations. Today we pray for St. Paul's in Enid. We pray that their VBS this week is a success. We pray for Rev. Meyer, Rev. Wade, and for the rest of the church and school staff at St. Paul's. We pray the Lord would continue to bless the Enid community through St. Paul's and that they would be strengthened spiritually.

Join us each week as we lift up one of our District churches in prayer. Today we pray for Grace in Tulsa. We pray that the Lord would continue to work through the congregation of Grace as they shine a light to the surrounding community. We pray for Pastor Hall and the church staff to be strengthened in faith as they serve the Lord. And we pray that Grace would continue to grow spiritually and in number.
