There are different styles of preaching the Bible and one is chapter by chapter and verse by verse. We started in the book of Romans 3 weeks ago and Romans chapter one has been deep. Tomorrow will be on the last few verses of chapter one that has a very simple message: we are all sinners and because of our inclination to sin because of being born into our flesh we need a Savior who can “in a sense” legally take our punishment we deserve from us and justify us, making it “just as if” we had not sinned. That is ONLY done through repentance and continuing to walk in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Learn more at 10:00 am Sunday

The pastor never really agreed to it but a wager was made that if the youth learn Psalms 23 by the end of the week the pastor would kiss a real sheep. The youth hid God’s word in their hearts so that was worth kissing a sheep. A picture was taken for proof. One is real. One is not. Makes me think of the message for tomorrow. There are 2 ways. One is based on what is real and the other way is not. The way of the world can look real and sometimes even be made to look better, but at the end of the day or more precisely at the end of time the truth will be evident and the fake exposed.
