St. James Lutheran Church Our Christian life is founded on the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther, who inspired the reformation of the Christian Church. and 10:45 a.m. It's not easy.

Our beliefs can be summarized in three short, simple, yet powerful statements: Grace Alone, Scripture Alone, and Faith Alone Services are Sundays at 8:00 a.m. We encourage everyone to be in the Word! In this world, you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world. We believe that the Word of God is absolute truth. This is the foundation on which we stand. The world will tell you di

fferently. So that is why it is so important to be in God's Word daily. Join a Bible study, an accountability group, or a daily devotion that will help you live the life that Christ has called you to. But the best things in life never are. Bible study times...
Sunday: Adult Bible study at 9:30 am in the conference room. Sunday: Youth Bible study at 9:30 am in the Youth House. Monday: Men's Bible study 8:30 am in the conference room. Wednesday: Women's study at 9:00 am in the conference room. Wednesday: High School Study at 3:00 pm in the Youth House. Wednesday Nights are family nights. We offer dinner before confirmation and Midweek classes in the youth house. Midweek is a Bible class hour for our younger youth (1st - 5th grade). We go through Bible stories, play games, and have snacks. Kids love it. Ignite Midweek is for our youngest kids - ages 3 - 6. They learn about the love of Jesus, sing songs, eat a healthy snack, and do crafts. They laugh... a lot. :D

Join us. We love Jesus. That's what life is all about.

**Meet the Missionary: Tiffany Smith**

Join us for a special opportunity to meet missionary **Tiffany Smith** and learn about her work in Tanzania with **Lutheran Bible Translators**.

Tiffany was born and raised in central Iowa and has always had a heart for sharing Jesus with people of all nations. After earning a bachelor's degree in theology and a post-graduate certification in language, community, and development, she began serving with Lutheran Bible Translators in February 2021. In January 2023, she moved to Shinyanga, Tanzania, where she now serves as a Community Engagement Specialist.

Working alongside the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania and other ministry partners, Tiffany helps support efforts to share God's Word with the Datoga people through the translation of Scripture into Taturu, one of their local languages.

Come hear Tiffany's story, learn about the challenges and blessings of Bible translation ministry, and discover how God is working among the Datoga people of Tanzania.

**Please keep Tiffany and the Church in Tanzania in your prayers as they work together to bring God's Word to the Datoga community.**
