“You can fool all the people some of the time, but you cannot fool God.”

As we begin a new quarter of Sunday School at First Missionary Baptist Church, we will increase our understanding as we examine God’s wisdom versus human wisdom.

Our first unit this fall is “The Way of the Fool.”

We begin in Proverbs 1:20–33, where wisdom is personified as a woman crying out loudly to the simple and foolish around her. She offers wisdom freely—but it must be received by those who are willing to listen.

Join us this Sunday for a powerful Sunday School lesson as we begin this new quarter together and learn to recognize the difference between human wisdom and the wisdom of God.

This Sunday, we begin our September preaching journey at First Missionary Baptist Church with a powerful reminder of what God has done for us through His amazing grace.

September is a month of both Grace and Mercy at FMBC. On Sundays, we’re exploring God’s Grace, while our Bible Study teaching series is focusing on God’s Mercy—reminding us that we are saved by grace and sustained each day by mercy.

We were dead in our sins, but God—rich in mercy and great in love—made us alive in Christ. Salvation is not something we can earn; it is the gracious gift of God. 🙌🏾
