Another fantastic lesson about Joanna at LIFT’s 2026 Women of the Bible series.

Though the mention of Joanna in Scripture is brief, the genuineness of her conversion, the depth of her love for Jesus, and her loyal support of His ministry are unmistakable.

She isn't one of the women we talk about often, yet God made sure her name was written into His story. Her life gives us a beautiful glimpse of what it looks like to encounter Jesus and then faithfully use what we've been given to follow and serve Him.

Next up… Monday Sept. 21st 6PM-8PM we will learn about Deborah.

The LIFT Women’s Ministry met on Monday, July 20th in the FCC Fellowship Hall. Approximately 30 ladies met to fellowship and learn about the life of Rahab. Each one received a red corded bracelet to remind them of redemption in Christ and the truth that our past does not define our future
and what God wants to do in our life. Paula Lotz taught the lesson on Rahab,and Kelli Kinzer had the ladies look up Scriptures to complete an exercise of
‘Who I Was’ vs. ‘Who God Says I Am’. The August LIFT meeting will be on Monday, August 17th at 6 p.m. We will be looking at the life of Joanna, wife of Chuza.

The LIFT women’s ministry met on June 15th from 6-8 pm in the FCC fellowship hall. We had approximately 38 women in attendance for refreshments and a study of Hagar. The women were encouraged through Biblical teaching and a video/song that God is El Roi, the God who Sees. They were given the opportunity to write out prayers of where they may feel unseen and have a
blessing spoken over them to remind them that God sees them where they are.
