The LIFT Women’s Ministry met on Monday, April 20th from 6-8 p.m. Tabitha/Dorcas was the focus of April’s "FCC L.I.F.T.'s 2026 Women of the Bible". After refreshments and the lesson on Tabitha’s life, compassion, and ministry, each attendee chose a woman to surprise with a blessing, and they prayerfully filled a Blessing Bag and delivered it to their chosen person. 50+ Blessing Bags were delivered within the community. The FCC LIFT Women’s Ministry met on Monday, March 23 from 6-8pm after having to
postpone for a week because of bad weather on March 16th. After the ladies enjoyed refreshments,
Paula Lotz taught a lesson on Mary, mother of our Lord Jesus. We talked about her relationships
with God, Joseph, Jesus, and the disciples. Our key verse was Luke 2:19, “but Mary kept all these
things in her heart and thought about them often.” After the teaching, Kelli Kinzer taught the
ladies several different ways to journal as they ‘pondered’ Scripture in their daily walk with God. The women left with several handouts/tools designed by Kelli to help them get started with journaling. Several ladies requested a Bible Study / Journaling workshop. In February, theFCC LIFTT Women’s Ministry celebrated “Galentine’s Day” with a sweet time of fellowship—complete with two chocolate fountains and an abundance of delicious treats. We had so much fun we didn’t get a lot of pictures.

As we gathered together, we reflected on the beautiful and unlikely friendship between Naomi and Ruth—one that crossed cultural boundaries, spanned generations, and demonstrated the deep, faithful bonds of chosen family.

Their story reminds us of the power of covenant friendship, beautifully captured in Ruth 1:16–17: “Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.”

It was a reminder that God weaves meaningful relationships into our lives, calling us to love, remain loyal, and walk faithfully alongside one another in every season
