That’s a wrap on this years fall work trip to Kemmerer Village In Assumption Illinois. Five amazing students joined me as we volunteered to help the Presbyterian Residential Village. It was so wonderful the students worked hard and we had amazing conversations and fellowship.

We had an amazing night of Interfaith Dialogue. Rabbi Bunde and Imam Djehiche were amazing. Thanks to President Wyatt and Joshua Gentzke for participating. Also, the students Fatima Gutierrez, Lina Jursa, Jacee Goodrich, Nathaniel Rodriquez, Mohammad Alsheikh, Leonardo Hernandez, and Michael Andal for assisting and doing introductions. You were all so helpful and wonderful this evening.

We are committed to building bridges and growing in our interfaith relationship, as demonstrated by our recent visit to the Islamic Center of the Quad Cities on April 5 and 7.

Last night we were able to attend Shabbat service at Temple Shalom. It was a beautiful service and Rabbi Bunde was absolutely wonderful answering all the students questions.
Thanks to all at Temple Shalom for their generous hospitality.
In the world we live in it is so important that we begin building bridges and connecting in order to diffuse the xenophobia that is running rampant today.
