🔥 YESTERDAY AT THE SHELTER! 🔥

What a powerful 10:30 AM service we experienced yesterday! From heartfelt worship and praise to a timely Word, God met us right where we were. 🙌🏽

Pastor Carson shared from James 5:13–18 on the subject “Prayer Works!”

We were reminded that prayer is more than asking God for help—it’s building a relationship with our Father. When we spend time with Him, we begin to look like Him, act like Him, and trust that He can do anything but fail.

We were challenged to pray Kingdom prayers, honor God, make time for prayer, and release unforgiveness. Our relationship with God matters, and unforgiveness can keep us bound in torment.

Prayer works when we pray in faith, according to God’s will, and from a heart surrendered to Him. 🙏🏽

We’re grateful for another incredible Sunday in God’s presence at The Shelter Church! ❤️‍🔥

❤️✨ LOVE DAY 2026 — WHAT A BEAUTIFUL AFTERNOON! ✨❤️

Today at 3 PM, we gathered for a powerful and beautiful Love Day celebration honoring our amazing pastors, Pastors Nathaniel & Deidra Carson! 🙏🏽❤️

It was an afternoon filled with love, laughter, fellowship, worship, and heartfelt appreciation for the leaders God has blessed us with. We were also honored to welcome our special guest speaker, Bishop Jevonn McIntosh, who brought a timely and powerful word. 🔥🙌🏽

What a joy it is to celebrate love, family, faith, and the incredible work God is doing through our pastors and The Shelter Church!

🔥 SUNDAY RECAP | FAITH WORKS! 🔥

What a powerful service we experienced today at The Shelter Church! From worship to the Word, we were reminded that God is calling us to do more than simply believe—He’s calling us to MOVE! 🙌

Pastor Carson taught from James 2:14–26 on the subject “Faith Works!”

One truth rang loud and clear: Works do not replace faith—works REVEAL faith! When faith is real, it produces action. We can believe what God said, but do we believe Him enough to MOVE when He speaks?

We were reminded through Abraham’s obedience that provision belongs to God—our responsibility is to obey and get to the place where He told us to go. Some things we will never know about God until we obey Him.

Your provision is connected to your obedience.
Faith moves. Faith obeys. Faith follows God.

The question we left with today is simple…

🙌 Sunday Recap | 10:30 AM Service

What an incredible time we had yesterday at The Shelter Church! From the moment we gathered, there was a powerful atmosphere of worship, praise, and expectancy as we came together to lift up the name of Jesus. 🙏🔥

Then Pastor Carson brought a challenging word from 2 Timothy 3:1–5 (KJV) entitled, “I Don’t Want a Form…I Want Power!”

We were reminded that it’s possible to have the form of godliness without the power of God. God is calling us beyond appearances and into a life that truly reflects His Spirit.

A life led by the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. We need discernment, we need the power of God, and most importantly—we have to LIVE RIGHT!

What a powerful Sunday! ❤️‍🔥
