Reminder! Volunteers needed to help setup the Pumpkin Patch THIS Thursday, October 1, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Pumpkin Patch. We will transform the bare grass into a fun patch for pumpkins by moving hay bales, fencing, unloading pumpkins, and decorating. Just show up or email Jessica Miller, Kids Ministry Volunteer Coordinator or call (251) 342-0462.
The patch is an annual fundraiser for the Kids Ministry to help offset all of their outreach activities for our church and the community. Thank you!

We're going to Guatemala during Mardi Gras week next year and want you to hear about the trip on Sunday 9/13!! There is a Guatemala Mission Trip (2/6-2/12/2027) Information Meeting set for September 13, between worship services (10-10:30 AM) in CCAA (Auditorium upstairs in the Christ Center). If you want to know how you can be a part of a great mission trip to serve the orphans at Casa Aleluya in Guatemala and the community that surrounds them, come, get all the information, ask questions, and meet others who are exploring how they can answer God's call to share their time and talents to meet needs and develop relationships in a foreign country.

Can you volunteer on Saturday, Sept. 5? We're planning to help Driftwood Housing (Homeless Ministry) prepare their property (8225 Eunice Cr. N.) to receive their first tiny home and the infrastructure improvements needed to become a community that houses the unhoused. We'll spend the morning (beginning at 8 AM) cleaning up the property, clearing vines, brush, and limbs. We hope that this 3-day weekend (Labor Day) gives some individuals (and families) the opportunity to participate.

We've still got room for more volunteers for this Saturday's work day at Open Doors Thrift Store. We're helping sort and display donated items for this ministry which donated nearly $250,000 of their profits to local Methodist service organizations last year. We'll meet there (4125 Government Blvd) at 8:30AM and work until lunchtime.
