Chuck’s Pit Crew this Sunday! We adore how our people rally around each other!

This campaign is in honor of Chuck, whose story we hope will inspire others to donate blood and help patients in need.
After getting clean from narcotics in 1989, he began donating blood as a way to make a positive difference in the world. What started as a single donation became a lifelong commitment to helping others. Over the years, he has donated more than 20 gallons of blood, helping save countless lives.
In July of 2023, he continued that commitment by becoming a Blood Service Volunteer with the American Red Cross, delivering lifesaving blood products from collection sites to hospitals where patients urgently need them.
Right now, Chuck is in the fight of his life as he undergoes chemotherapy for cancer. Because of his treatment, he can’t donate blood himself for the first time in decades. So, we are having a blood drive this Sunday in his honor.
While he can’t donate right now, we can race in his place by rolling up our sleeves and helping save lives.
If you are able, please consider giving blood this Sunday at Dayspring Baptist Church 2200 Cody Road South.
