We are thrilled to announce our Guest Speaker for September 13th, Dr. Eric Crocker!
Ernest John Eric Crocker was born in Rochester, New York, on November 24, 1976. Raised in the nurture and admonition of Christ, he became actively involved in church life at an early age. At 16, he surrendered his life to Christ, and at 17, he accepted the call of God to ministry. His life and work reflect a steadfast commitment to faith, family, leadership, and service. He is a devoted husband to Janielle and a loving father to Jada Elan, Jeremiah Eric, and Jonathan Eli.
Ernest serves as the Senior Pastor of Faith, Hope and Charity Worship Center and as Assistant to the Presiding Prelate of New Beginnings Fellowship of Churches in Rochester, New York, under the leadership of his father, Bishop John Crocker.
Throughout his ministry, Ernest has served the church community in numerous capacities. His work has included teaching Bible study through Midweek Charge, leading prayer gatherings and workshops, serving as a worship leader, playing the saxophone in ministry settings, teaching in jail and prison ministry, serving as a Bible Bootcamp teacher, instructing discipleship ministries, and mentoring boys and young men. His ministerial reach extends beyond the local church. Ernest has been blessed to minister the Word of God internationally, including in Africa, Trinidad, the Bahamas, and Israel.
A strong advocate for higher learning, Ernest earned a bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.
Through his ministry, leadership, education, and commitment to lifelong learning, Ernest continues to serve with purpose, humility, and a passion for strengthening the body of Christ.
Dr. Crocker is such a blessing to our church and we are very excited to have him join us September 13th!
