"Each little flower that opens,
each little bird that sings,
God made their glowing colors,
and made their tiny wings." 🎶

"All Things Bright and Beautiful" (no. 147 in The United Methodist Hymnal) was written by Cecil Frances Alexander, an Irish writer, in 1848. It notes the work of God's creation in both the majestic--like "purple-headed mountains--and the minute--like an open flower. It invites in us an awareness of God's work around us.

🎵 "God gave us eyes to see them,
and lips that we might tell
how great is God Almighty,
who has made all things well."

On June 2, several from Mineral United Methodist Church gathered to produce Kits for Conference. This annual event of the Barton-Payne Circle supports UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief. The group created 230 Hygiene Kits, 30 Feminine Hygiene Kits and 20 Cleaning Buckets. These kits will be delivered this week to the Hub in Culpeper. The Kits are used to support communities where disasters occur. Pastor Dan Albrant prayed that those who receive the kits will be blessed and feel the love that was poured from those who created it.

Some people don’t need an explanation… they need someone to stand with them in the rain. Not everything has to be shared, analyzed, or explained. Sometimes love looks like quiet presence... covering someone with grace instead of exposing their pain. Carry their burden gently. Protect their story. Be a safe place. 🙏

If someone you love is going through a storm, don’t step back... step closer. If you want to grow in loving others the way Christ does, we’ve created devotionals and peaceful worship playlists to guide you. Linked on our page. 💜
