We are excited to announce that registration is NOW OPEN for our upcoming Upward Flag Football & Cheer season! At Mineral Baptist Church, we strive to cultivate an environment where kids can learn, grow & have fun while learning about Jesus Christ!
Program Details:
Who: Boys and girls, ages 5-17 (flag football); 4-12yrs old for cheer
When: Practices begin the week of August 10, 2026, with games every Saturday from Sept 12 to Oct 31.
Where: All games and practices will be held at Mineral Baptist Church (51 Louisa Avenue, Mineral, VA 23117)
Mandatory Evaluations: Evaluations are used to form teams that are of comparable skill. Select one of 2 dates and drop in anytime during the 2-hour window:
-Sat, July 18th 10-12pm
-Mon, July 20th 6-8pm
Registration Information:
Deadline: Early Bird Registration is open now through June 13, 2026. Registration will remain open until July 20, 2026 (as long as space is available).
How to Register: Visit our website at www.mineralbaptistchurch.org to complete the online registration form (scroll down on main page until you see the football/cheer info)
Cost: $75 (Early Bird Price), which includes a jersey; price increases to $80 June 14. Shorts are available for purchase at additional cost.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to serve as coaches, assistant coaches, and referees. If you're interested in making a positive impact in the lives of young athletes, please indicate your interest on the registration form or contact us directly at [email protected].

Our worship services are designed for families, adults, and everyone in between. You can join us on Sundays at 11:00 AM at 51 Louisa Avenue, Mineral, VA 23117. Plenty of parking is available, and our volunteers will help you find your way.
