Gilboa Christian Church is a family-oriented, Bible-preaching country church dedicated to loving the Lord, serving our community, and growing outreach ministries that share God’s love with others. Ministries include music, youth, and charity, with support for causes ranging from local to international. Jeff Alston and Heath Honse serve as Gilboa’s co-pastors. What a wonderful August Community Dinner!

From Scott and his grandson bringing in his famous cowboy beans to the wonderful crew who worked together to get this pork barbecue dinner served, it was truly a team effort!

We were blessed to serve an estimated 110 people and enjoyed a wonderful crowd, fresh sides from local gardens including corn, cucumbers, and tomatoes, and delicious fresh peaches generously donated by Jesse Harper for some amazing desserts!

We are so thankful for everyone who cooked, served, donated, and came out to share a meal with us. Most of all, we give thanks to the Lord for His provision, the fellowship He gives us, and the opportunity to love our neighbors through meals like this. What a blessing!

What a wonderful week of Vacation Bible School! ☀️📖

Throughout the week, children, youth, and adults came together for a time of faith, fellowship, learning, and fun as we grew in God's Word and strengthened connections within our church family and community.

We are so thankful for our teachers and volunteers who faithfully shared the Gospel throughout the week:

• Sally Truslow & Pastor Jeff Alston – Middle & High School
• Abbey Hall – Grades 3-5
• Cheryl Harkrader – Kindergarten-2nd Grade
• Darlene Knuff – Preschool

Thank you to all of our volunteers, families, and participants who helped make this year's VBS such a special week. We would especially like to thank Tracy White for her hard work and dedication with VBS. We are grateful for the opportunity to plant seeds of faith and look forward to seeing how God continues to work in the lives of those who attended.
