Another year is upon us! Get ready to make it a year of feasting in the Word! If you have not been in the habit of reading your Bible daily, make 2026 the year you do that!
I have attached a couple articles on Bible reading for you here: https://www.gracenevada.com/reading-the-bible-in-2023/
https://servantsofgrace.org/brief-thoughts-bible-reading.../
We also have several Bible reading plans. I have put together two over the years. The first one systematically takes you through the Bible in the year, one book at a time. It is available at church.
I also put together a Bible saturation plan,
This Bible reading plan will take you through
the OT twice
the Psalms twice
the Proverbs twelve times
the NT four times
The daily reading will vary between eleven and nine chapters.
On some days the reading will be less, with blank boxes. Consider these make up or get ahead days.
Sometimes the Proverbs exceed the days of the month by one or two.
In April, June, Oct., and Dec. the OT reading is in two columns.
The OT and NT reading is in larger sections to maintain sectional unity. There is a Psalm and a Proverb every day.
I have attached the files for you.
Extra Reading
Men, this year our theology discussion after Men's Breakfast will be John Murray, Redemption, Accomplished and Applied. This is one of my favorite books of all time (as well as Daniel's).
For those who want to learn theology through the Puritans, I highly recommend reading Beeke and Jones, Puritan Theology, which has a daily reading plan as well! This is a great book to nourish the soul!
