we will be taking out the stablilizing bolts that secure the pews in place so that they can be removed in anticipation of our renovation beginning July 1st!

We've been so blessed to have such amazing helpers and kiddos for this year's VBS. Big shout out to our VBS crew that worked tirelessly to make this year farmtastic, with great snacks 😋, enriching stories🎭, Bible-focused games📖, catchy music🎵, and artistic crafts 🎨. Tomorrow is our last day for the week, and we are inviting all parents and older siblings to see our Barnyard Roundup Program at noon. The kids will sing the songs and verses they've learned, and a free lunch will be served afterward. Thank you to the ladies who came to join us from the Westminster United Presbyterian church. It was a joy to partner with them to create an unforgettable experience! Also, a big thank you to our petting zoo coordinator who brought us such fascinating and adorable farm animals to pet and feed.

Fun & fellowship for some members of our high school youth and incoming 8th graders this afternoon🤗 🍜 ⛳️
We will be planning more outings in the future, and Sunday morning bible study at 9 am will continue until our current lesson is completed.

⭐️NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL MISSION PROJECT!
This year, our Sunday School will be taking on a NEW mission
project – participating in the Unseen Backup Team for the
Minden Police Department. What does this mean? Our Sunday
School will support an officer by praying for them and sending
them notes of encouragement and special treats. What a great lesson for our kids about
kindness, and super easy since we are literally next door neighbors!

👮🏼‍♀️Our officer is Travis Arner. He has been on the department several years and just became the
school resource officer last year. He’s a super guy. Many of our students already know him.
Each Sunday School class will take turns once a month to take a note and treats to the police
department during our Sunday morning time.
***Here’s where we NEED PARENT HELP…
Please contact Jenny (308-830-1250) if you could help provide a dozen cookies,
brownies, muffins, or some other kind of treat and what month works for you.
We would like to give ½ to Officer Travis and ½ to whoever is currently in jail or on staff that
day. (Our students will not see who is in jail – we will only drop off treats at the glass window
where the dispatcher sits.)
