📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Our Children’s Policy at Minco First Assembly of God
If your children are loud, please come to church.
If getting everyone dressed and out the door feels like a battle—and you arrive late—please come to church.
If your toddler cannot sit still, your baby needs to be fed, or your child asks questions at the most inconvenient moment, please come to church.
If someone cries, drops a toy, needs a snack, or makes a third trip to the bathroom, please come to church.
If your children do not know all the words, when to pray, or when to sit and stand, please come to church.
If you spend most of the service caring for your children and only hear about 12% of the sermon, please come to church.
If Sunday morning feels more messy than peaceful, please come to church.
If you are worried your children might distract someone around you, please come to church.
Children do not learn how to become part of the church by staying home until they can sit quietly.
They learn by being here.
They learn to sing by hearing us sing.
They learn to pray by hearing us pray.
They learn to worship by watching us worship.
They learn that church is home when we lovingly make room for them.
The wiggles, whispers, dropped crayons, crying babies, and little voices are not interruptions to the life of the church.
They are evidence that the church is alive!
So bring the babies. Bring the toddlers. Bring the big kids. Come late if you must. Sit in the front or the back. Step out when you need to—and come right back in.
Just come. You and your children are welcome here.
Children are not simply the future of the church.
They are a precious and important part of the church right now.
