Stepping Beyond the Pulpit πŸ’œπŸ™ŒπŸ½

At Thrive Church, we believe ministry extends far beyond Sunday mornings. It happens wherever compassion, service, and community is needed.

This weekend, our very own Bishop ALO stepped onto the dance floor as a participant in Stepping With the Stars, a fundraiser supporting cancer awareness, research, and those affected by this devastating disease. While some may see dancing as an unexpected role for a Pastor, anyone who knows Bishop knows he has never been one to follow the crowd. He has always been willing to step outside of tradition when it means making a difference in the lives of others.

His participation was about more than a competition. It was about honoring lives impacted by cancer, supporting efforts to find a cure, and demonstrating the power of community coming together for a greater cause. Through his commitment and the generosity of supporters, he raised the most funds among the men’s competitors… a testament to what can happen when people unite around a meaningful mission.

We are proud not only of his performance, but of his willingness to show the heart behind the title. Before he is a Pastor, he is a servant, a neighbor, a friend, and a member of a community that grieves together, celebrates together, and stands together.

Thank you, Bishop, for reminding us that leadership isn’t just about standing in front of people, it’s about standing with them.

πŸ’š Together, we continue to pray, support, and work toward a future free from cancer. This one was for you Alexiah!! Gone, but never forgotten!

What an unforgettable and spirit-filled day at Thrive Church as we celebrated the ordination of Pastor Nicole M. Gaines! ❀️✨

Saturday was more than a ceremony it was a powerful reminder of what happens when someone fully surrenders to the call of God on their life. Pastor Nicole has led with grace, wisdom, humility, strength, and an unwavering love for God and His people. To witness her step into this new season of ministry was truly an honor and a blessing for us all.

Pastor Nicole, Thrive Church is so incredibly proud of you. We are thankful for your heart, your leadership, your obedience, and the light you bring into every room you enter.
