The volunteer work continues on this week! We are so proud of our CBC Milton Teens! They served without complaint and were a huge blessing to Cambridge City Christian Church and a Cambridge City resident.
At CCCC, we were able to help in a shelving and organizing project that will greatly improve efficiency of donations as they’re brought in. Girls cleaned the kitchen, helped flood victims load cars, and completed a MASSIVE clothing project that volunteers had been working on all week! At a Cambridge City resident’s home, the boys helped clean out a basement that had been flooded and came back to the church and helped the girls clean and organize.
We also loaded up the last pallet of donated food and supplies out of our church yesterday! Organization after organization has come to take much needed supplies, and our church body worked diligently and quickly to load up and send out three semi loads worth of donations from Walmart. Truly incredible work, and this isn’t even close to a representation of all the unseen man hours happening, carried out by our families and members who continually give of themselves to help their neighbors and friends and family in need!
As volunteer efforts continue all over the place, we are honored to help serve alongside Crosspointe Biker Church in Connersville this week and next - stay tuned for updates on that!
