Camp Day 5 & Home Safe! 💙

What an incredible way to wrap up an unforgettable week at camp!

Friday was filled with fun from start to finish. Campers kicked off the day playing “Cat in the Hat,” a creative twist on musical chairs, before each cabin had the chance to spend time kayaking or canoeing. (We wish we had more pictures to share, but it was a busy area and we were trying our best to stay out of everyone’s way!😊) They also enjoyed one last round of camp favorites like the craft shop, lazy river, zip line, and more.

To end the week, everyone gathered for the final scoring of this year’s Chopper Wars competition. Congratulations to Cobra Blue on taking home the victory! We were excited to have two of our boys and two of our girls on the winning team!

The final service of the week brought a powerful challenge about salvation and allowing God to break down the hardness of our hearts so He can truly take control of our lives. What a fitting way to end a week centered on growing closer to Christ.

Most importantly, we’re happy to share that everyone made it home safely! We are so thankful for God’s protection over our travels and for the incredible week He gave us. We pray the seeds that were planted this week continue to grow in the hearts of our kids long after camp has ended.

A huge thank you to all of our parents for trusting us with your children this week, praying for them, and supporting this ministry. It was a joy to watch them build friendships, make memories, and grow in their faith. Thank you to everyone who prayed over our kids! Camp Day 4 Recap!🌟

Another incredible day at camp!

Yesterday the girls enjoyed a fun-filled morning at the lake where they got to swim, conquer the blob, ride the zip line, and fly down the water slide! Meanwhile, the boys spent the morning at main camp visiting the craft shop and taking on the zip line.

One of the highlights of the day was our family-style lunch, where our sponsors had the opportunity to sit with our kids, hear about their week, and encourage them. We were also so proud to see several of our kids earn a special bookmark from Big Bob by reciting the seven miracles of Jesus in the book of John that we’ve been studying together!

Although some rain changed the evening plans, it didn’t slow anyone down! Our kids enjoyed an indoor fair with games, face painting, and a lively game of tic-tac-toe that kept the fun going.

The greatest highlight of the day came during the evening service. The message challenged everyone to examine the idols and things we covet that compete for our hearts. We were reminded that our hearts can easily convince us that our own way is best, but true peace, fulfillment, and lasting joy are only found when we fully surrender every part of our lives to Jesus.

We are praising God that several of our girls responded during the invitation time! Please continue praying for all of our campers as God continues to work in their hearts. We are so thankful for what He is doing this week!❤️

Camp Day 3 Recap! ☀️💦

Yesterday was packed with fun! Campers battled it out in an epic water war, enjoyed free time floating the lazy river and racing down the big water slide, and wrapped up the evening with “Fun Time” full of hilarious skits and silly songs from the camp staff. There were smiles and laughter everywhere!

But the most important part of the day happened during worship. Last night’s message focused on the incredible love Jesus showed by willingly going to the cross to take the punishment for our sins. It was a powerful reminder of His sacrifice and His love for each of us.

One thing is for sure: every Impact Kid says they’re having an amazing time! Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We can’t wait to see what God continues to do this week! ❤️

Day 2 was great! The boys are went to the lake today and girls had free time at the climbing wall and craft shop! 🌊🧶

Big Bob is the speaker for the week and he is doing amazing so far! He is teaching on Jesus’ 7 miracles in the book of John.

We’re settling in for night one and all the kids have been paired with their counselors! We’ll continue to share photos throughout the week and can’t wait to see what God does!🏕️❤️

Kids and sponsors have arrived safely to camp and are in the midst of registration! Thank you for all your prayers as they traveled today, praying for a great week and for the Lord to work in hearts!

CBC 500 photo dump 🏁☀️

We had fun yesterday racing all around Hagerstown with 4 awesome teams! From house stops to challenges all over town, the kids kept us running and laughing all afternoon. The weather was beautiful, the competition was strong, and memories were definitely made!

A big congratulations to our winning team of girls: Charlee, Aubrey, Tatum, Olivia, and Whitney🏆

Thank you to all of the parents who let their kids join us for this event and to everyone who helped make CBC 500 such a success. Already looking forward to our next event!💙
