Life was normal.

People were eating, drinking, marrying, and carrying on as usual…

…and Noah kept building.

No rain.

No thunder. No clouds.

Yet somehow Noah lived as if the storm was coming.

When God told Noah that a flood was coming, He didn't tell him that he needed to learn to swim. He told him to build an Ark.

And He also told him how to do it.

The Lord told Noah that a storm was coming. And not just any storm. But a storm that would envelope the entire world.

A storm of severe judgement.

Many centuries later, the Lord told us, "And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man."

That should get our attention. And we should probably look into that together. Because a storm's coming.

Tomorrow morning @ 10am, I plan to begin a new series entitled "The Days of Noah."
