🌱 ✏️ Harvest School is growing! We have grown from 60 to 145 students. This year we added two more classrooms, and the community is already asking for two more next year.

Education is a gift of hope! These children’s futures are changed forever!

📢IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
✨ NEW Name - SAME Mission ✨

This coming June, we will celebrate 20 years of ministry in Haiti since our founding as a 501(c)(3), and as that milestone approaches, we feel a fresh wind blowing. We are still fighting poverty, and that work continues every day. As we prayed about the future, though, we sensed God inviting us into a new season with a name that tells the story of who we are and how we see Him moving. We want to be known more for what we are for than for what we stand against. We are for Haitian families building something lasting, and for the leaders in our communities who are planting seeds of faith and opportunity that will outlast all of us.

Our new name comes from a verse that has carried this ministry through hard days and good ones:

“So let us not grow weary of doing what is good; for if we don’t give up, we will in due time reap the harvest.” Galatians 6:9

🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

A harvest comes after long seasons of patient planting and faithful tending, with God bringing the growth. We have watched Him do exactly that in Haiti, and we believe the most fruitful seasons are still ahead.

Our name may be new, but the ministry you love is the same. The same Haitian leaders and staff are serving faithfully on the ground, and the Gospel remains at the center of everything we do. Harvest Haiti partners with Haitian communities to create sustainable jobs, expand access to education, and nurture Christ-centered discipleship, cultivating opportunity for families and future generations.

We’re still in the middle of this transition, so you may see our old name or logo in a few places over the coming weeks. Our team is working diligently to bring everything over to Harvest Haiti, and we appreciate your patience if we’ve missed a spot along the way.

You can find us at our new home online: harvesthaiti.org. If you visit our old website, it will automatically take you to the new site.

⛰️🧡 Same mission, new language, and renewed hope for the future. 🇭🇹

✏️ 🍎 The new school year in Haiti is beginning soon! We have a list of children waiting for a sponsor. For $36 a month sponsors provide tuition, school books, and a uniform for their sponsored child.

Our students often consider their sponsors to be godparents because of the important investment they make in their lives. They are so thankful for the opportunity to go to school!

🧡 📚 School sponsorship is a beautiful way to change a child’s future forever.

We have a list of preschoolers waiting to begin their education! You can begin sponsoring a one of them by emailing [email protected] and requesting to begin a new sponsorship. Our office will match you with a student and direct you to set up your sponsorship payments.

For more information on sponsoring a student visit our website: https://haitipoverty.org/our-partners

We hope you will take a few moments to soak in a place and people we love. Your generosity is building these children a school, allowing the sick to have access to medical care, providing tools and seeds so families can farm and have stable food and income, and most importantly, introducing them to the Gospel - the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ.

Your donations and prayers are making a remarkable impact. Thank you for being part of our HFAP family.

We hope you enjoy this video - you are part of this story. Hope is on the horizon! ☀️ ⛰️ 🇭🇹

Nine and a half years ago we ran a campaign to build homes Hurricane Matthew destroyed. We were able to visit the village of Raynald where most of the 48 homes were built, and they still look great! After almost a decade, they are holding up well! 🙌 Praise God! A good, strong shelter is such a blessing.
