Monthly Gratitude Moment ✨ As this month wraps up, we’re reflecting on God’s faithfulness as it is seen in answered prayers, milestones, or the simple blessings of everyday life.

What’s one thing you’re thankful for this month? Share in the comments so we can celebrate together, and check out what our MRC staff are grateful for too! 💛

Moments of joy from Student Ministry ✨ This weekend was full of fun fall activities for our students, from pumpkin painting to pumpkin carving, and a delicious pig roast! Our students never cease to amaze us with their talent and creativity. These moments when we share our lives together are truly gifts from God.

We're thankful for every smile and conversation that was shared. 😊

Service Sunday Impact 💙

Our recent meal-packing project is already making a difference in our community! At a recent Food for Health meeting at United Way, representatives from the Midland County Food Assistance Network highlighted our project as a simple but impactful way to address food insecurity.

Having a bag with everything needed to prepare a meal makes it easier for individuals and families who may be short on time, energy, or meal-planning resources. MCFAN distributes to eight local food pantries, and the meal's popularity was clear when the first pantry to arrive picked up more than half of the available bags!

Thank you to everyone who helped prepare these meals and write notes of encouragement. Your time and care are helping make nutritious meals more accessible to our neighbors in need.

If you or someone you know could use a free meal, please visit our church.

Our Doors Got a Facelift! 🚪✨

Have you noticed our new doors? This upgrade has made a big difference, both in appearance and ease of use! The finishing touch? Vinyl decals featuring our church logo!

We’re grateful for improvements like these that help make our building more welcoming and accessible to everyone who walks through our doors. A big thank-you to for their work on this project!

Here’s to welcoming our congregation and community through these doors for years to come! 💙

Participate in Community Engagement Training! ✨ At Midland Reformed Church, we're offering several Adult Education opportunities this fall and winter. Our next opportunity begins on Sunday, October 25, immediately following the worship service in the Library.

This two-week class will explore active listening and help to equip you to better engage with others in our church and in our community. No preparation or homework is required, so we hope you’ll take advantage of one or all of these opportunities!

Moments of joy from Bowling ✨ Our high school students bowled the night away this past Sunday! At MRC, we believe learning to live and love like Jesus means sharing life together… and yes, that includes having fun! Joy, laughter, and belonging are gifts from God, and moments like these help our students experience church as a place where they are known, welcomed, and loved.
