A huge shoutout to Maria at pizzahollywood_ri for once again donating pizzas to our monthly Community Meal! 🍕🩵
Her generosity helped us serve 111 meals this week, and because of her donation, we were able to add even more fresh fruits and vegetables alongside the pizza.
Maria, we are so grateful for your continued partnership, friendship, and generosity toward our island community. You make such a difference!
And just look at this incredible team of faithful servers! We are so blessed by the people who show up month after month, ready to serve, love on our neighbors, and make Community Meal happen.

Tonight our Community Meal team served 115 meals, the most we’ve served in over a year.
We don’t share that to boast, but to highlight the growing need in our community. We’re grateful for every volunteer who showed up to love our neighbors with kindness, dignity, and a warm meal. Every act of service matters, and small acts of faithfulness can make a lasting difference.
“Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” Romans 12:13
Thank you to everyone who gave their time to cook, serve, clean up, pray, and simply show up. Your willingness to serve is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love.🩵

We’re looking for a few helping hands to serve at our monthly Community Meal this summer!

Summer tends to be a season of travel for many of our regular volunteers, which means we have a few spots to fill. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be part of Community Meal, this is a great time to jump in and serve alongside us.

Summer dates:
• May 26
• June 23
• July 28
• August 25

If you’re available for one date or all four, we’d love to hear from you! Before serving, we’ll simply meet to share the heart and vision behind Community Meal and walk through a few logistics.

A LoveWorks team served today helping families with yard work, trimming, raking, weeding, and hauling out bags and bags of yard waste after a (very) long winter. If you would like to serve or nominate a need, use the form linked on our website.
