The enemy’s goal is compromise. God’s Word gives us what we need to stand firm.

Jesus shows us exactly what that looks like. Again and again, Satan tried to distort the truth, discourage Him, and pull Him away from who He was called to be. And every time, Jesus reached for the same weapon: Scripture.

The battle may look different in our lives, but the response is still the same.

When the enemy whispers, know what God has said.
When temptation comes, stand on what God has said.
When you’re tempted to compromise, fight back with what God has said.

The Word of God isn’t just something to know. It’s a sword to use.

What an incredible Sunday! 🙌

Today we wrapped up Hold The Line, and we’re so thankful for Mark S. Griffith Jr bringing a powerful and encouraging word as we looked at the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God.

Over the last several weeks, we’ve walked piece by piece through the armor of God and learned what it looks like to stand firm in the middle of a spiritual battle. And today we were reminded that God didn’t just give us armor to survive the attack, He gave us a weapon to fight back.

Echoes family, our prayer is that you walk into this week wearing the full armor of God, grounded in His truth, and ready to use His Word in every battle you face.

We can’t wait to see you next week for a Sunday you won’t want to miss. 👀

Fall Crews are officially underway, but it’s not too late to find your people. 🙌

We believe church is more than a place you attend on Sundays. It’s a family you belong to, and Crews are one of the best ways to build real community at Echoes.

Whatever season of life you’re in, there’s a place for you to be known, encouraged, and grow alongside others.

Don’t sit this season out. Head to the Echoes App or comment CREWS and we’ll send you the link to find yours!

The battle for your mind is real. So protect what gets to define you.

In Week 5 of Hold The Line, Pastor Chris unpacked the helmet of salvation and reminded us that putting it on isn’t about earning something from God. It’s about remembering what Jesus has already done for us.

Because when we forget what He’s done, it’s easy to let our failures, hurts, expectations, and mistakes become our identity. But in Christ, those things don’t get the final word.

You are forgiven. You are free. You are loved. You are a new creation. Your issue isn’t your identity anymore.

So put on the helmet. Let your mind be reminded and ruled by Jesus, and keep walking in who He says you are.

Forgiven. Free. Loved. Made new. 🙌

What a Sunday at Echoes! Today we lifted up the name of Jesus and were reminded that salvation doesn’t just change our eternity. It changes the way we see ourselves and how we live.

Pastor Chris de Monyé shared that the world may try to define us by what we’ve done, what we’ve lost, or where we’ve failed. But Jesus gets the final word on who we are. And as we put on the armor of God, the helmet of salvation reminds us of the truth of what Jesus has done for us.

So thankful we got to worship together and be reminded of who we are because of Jesus.

We never want to treat gathering together like just another part of the week. God is moving, His Word is alive, and we’re coming expectant for what He wants to do tomorrow. 🙌

Bring your people and join us at 8am, 920am, 1040am & 12pm! We can’t wait to see you there.

Last week at Echoes YTH, we got to launch Encounter Nights. 🙌

These nights are about so much more than gathering our students in a room with some worship music. They’re an intentional opportunity for our middle school and high school students to slow down, step away from the noise, and make space to encounter God for themselves.

Our heart for our entire church has always been to build a culture of worship where Jesus is at the center of everything we do. Not just on Sundays. Not just through the songs we sing. But in the way we seek Him, respond to Him, and surrender every part of our lives to Him.

Encounter Nights are an extension of that heart for the next generation.

Through extended musical worship, prayer, God’s Word, and intentional moments of response, students are given space to connect with God without rushing to what’s next. Space to listen. Space to pray. Space to respond to what God is speaking and doing in their lives.

Because we don’t just want our students to grow up attending church or knowing the words to worship songs. We want them to know Jesus personally. We want them to learn what it looks like to seek His presence, hear His voice through His Word, and respond to Him with their whole lives.

We believe the next generation doesn’t have to wait until they’re older to experience God deeply. And we’re committed to creating spaces where they can encounter Jesus now and build a faith that becomes their own.

That’s why nights like Encounter Nights matter.

What you feed your mind matters.

The world is constantly planting seeds of fear and doubt, but when we fill our hearts and minds with God’s Word, we’re planting faith instead.

The shield of faith isn’t something we suddenly reach for when the battle comes. It’s built by what we allow into our hearts every single day.

Fill your mind with truth. Plant seeds of faith. And trust that God’s Word is doing something, even when you can’t see it.
