We have finished the letter to Colossae…
King Jesus, continue to grow in us what has been planted.

Today was filled with power, beauty, and a few tears.

We've been a sending church for 6 and 1/2 years. From day one we've practiced open hands because these are His people, not ours.

We've sent apprentices of Jesus to Texas, Virginia, Alabama, Colorado, Northern Arizona, and different parts of the valley.
Today, we send Felicity Hobson to Texas to be on mission in a new part of His world.

Felicity, you have discipled our kids well! You have grown as a follower of Jesus and we're confident the Lord Jesus has great things ahead for you and Gage!

Farewell, for now! You're seen and loved deeply!

We’re a church in downtown Mesa that loves Jesus and loves people. We meet at First Presbyterian of Mesa in the chapel.

We know trying a new church can be scary but we’re excited to meet you. Join us for one or all of our upcoming gatherings:

Easter Gathering 4.5.26 at 10am
We’ll worship through song and hear from the gospels.

Family Serve Day 4.12.26 at 10am
We’ll (kids with us) be making meal kits for refugee families as well as caring for our adopted foster care kids.

New series “Who Is Jesus?” 4.19.26 at 10am
We’ll spend time studying the historical Jesus and what he has to say about life and humanity.

Your kids are led and taught by a wonderful team while you’re in our Sunday morning gathering. They sing, play, memorize Scripture, and are cared for well!

Start the New Year with us at Garden City Church!

This Sunday, January 18th we will worship, take the bread & cup and explore all the ways God intervenes when humanity is side ways. Come spend 5 weeks with us in a series called But God…Come learn about Jesus and his love for the whole world and make some friends as you do.

We have teaching and fun engagement for our kids birth-11 years old with an awesome playground and an awesome staff team so you know your kids are cared for.

We are grateful to the parents of Garden City Church who insist on their kids being discipled in the ways of Jesus.

We aren’t a perfect church in anyway, but we consistently practice what the Scriptures preach. We serve the poor and those not seen. And our kids are doing it right next to us as we do.

May this generation be more than listening to a sermon on a Sunday! May we embody his life and choose the cruciformed way!

- pack after school care bags for at-risk kids

- organize houseless care packages

- note writing for Foster Home Staff

Help Us Finish the Year Strong…

We’ve had a great 2025! We’ve grown, we’ve baptized, we’ve celebrated, and we’ve served.

Every dollar given in December goes to our yearly benevolence fund. 100% of these gifts go
toward serving those in downtown Mesa and the surrounding areas.

Ongoingly we feed the houseless, care for at-risk kids, help with counseling services, serve single moms, provide for foster care homes, and come alongside those walking through addiction.

We’re a small but mighty community and we need your help. God uses this church.
