Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church has been active in Merrill since 1885. We are part of the ​ Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the East-Central Synod of Wisconsin (ECSW). We believe the Triune God creates the church and sustains it through Word and Sacrament by power of the Holy Spirit. We strive to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God’s message of love and salvation for the world,

so all people may hear the Good News, be drawn to Christ, and live out God’s mission in the world. Sundays 9:00 a.m. We are an inclusive community; all are welcome here in Christ’s church. Please come and check us out for worship, learning and service opportunities. We are excited to listen to your story and learn more about Jesus from you! Holy Communion
Holy Communion is served at all worship services. As Lutherans we believe Christ is present in, with, and under the bread and wine by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit's power we receive Christ's body and blood for the forgiveness of sins and are given new life to go out and share God's love in Christ with our neighbors in need. Christ is the host of the meal and the Lord's table at Our Saviour's is open to everyone. Gluten free wafers and juice are available. First communion classes are offered for children in fifth grade as part of our confirmation program. However, classes are also offered for children wishing to participate in Holy Communion at a younger age.
