Subjects: The Covenant Continues; Renewing Our Commitments; God Calls Joshua To Leadership; Joshua Leads Courageously; Strength In Obedience Scripture: Joshua 1: 1- 11 (Study the entire chapter.)

Listeners: 1. Why did the children of Israel remain in the wilderness for 40 years? Did any of the Israelites who left Egypt, other than Joshua, live to enter the Promise land? Who? 2. When do we as Christians need to be strong and courageous? Who can help us to conquer our fears. Support with scripture. 3. When stepping out on faith and trust in God, is it necessary to plan and prepare? Explain. 4. Why did the people need to take food with them when they entered the Promise land?

Bonus for All: a) What preparation does mankind need to make in order to enter the promise land? b) From our Lesson: How does God’s call to Joshua remind us of God’s promises and role in the lives of those whom He calls? Name one of God's promises.
