The Hole-In-One yard signs have arrived! Be sure to stop by the narthex or Church office entry areas to pick up yours today. Displaying a sign is a great way to show your support for the festival while also helping spread the word throughout the community.

Congratulations to our eighth grade graduates who won these special awards at graduation:

Libby Ghio-Suzanne Koch Memorial Award is presented to students for superior academic achievement in all major subject areas. This recognition is our highest academic award given to a graduate. Mrs. Ghio, an 8th grade teacher, and Mrs. Koch, a 1st grade teacher, who passed away during their teaching tenure at St. Louis, were very aware of the importance of the total education that children needed in all subject areas. Ghio-Koch Memorial Award winners are Mary Frances Mabry and Hudson Starratt.

Michael Tanner-Edward Clasgens Memorial Award is presented to students who show extraordinary dedication and excellence in both academics and athletics. Michael and Edward passed away tragically in a drowning accident while sixth graders here at St. Louis. They were both outstanding student athletes. Tanner-Clagens Memorial Award winners are Julia Hill and Michael Caesar.

Betty Hayes Memorial Award Betty Hayes served as our secretary here at St. Louis School for 22 years from August 1983 to December 10, 2005. Betty, herself a graduate of St. Louis, embodied the spirit of our school. Betty’s memory will continue here at St. Louis through Memorial Awards presented to students who exemplify the characteristics of the ideal St. Louis graduate; good character, citizenship, and commitment to service. Betty Hayes Memorial Award winners are (L to R) Mary Frances Mabry, Julia Hill, Cooper McBride, Laney Norman, Mia Disalvo, Eleanor Jagoe, and Evie Campbell.
