Poiēma Church is praising God for our church partner Harlan Baptist Church. They recently came up for a mission trip to help us upgrade our A/V setup. And it was quite a transformation!

We mounted monitors in our lobby and Mother’s room to live stream our worship gatherings. This allows for an overflow space and anyone who needs to step out to still be part of things. We now have a slide show for upcoming events and announcements before and after our gatherings. We have capabilities to stream in one of our classrooms once we get another monitor and mount it.

HBC generously supplied the equipment for this mission trip project. We accomplished much more than I expected in an economy of time all while having a blast together. Jacob Schwenke and Derek Plitt led the music on Sunday and Pastor Josh Haywood preached the next text in our Colossians series. What a treat! Thank you Kevin, Danny & Noah Hayes for coming out on Saturday and all your help.

Thank you Harlan Baptist Church for your partnership and generosity as we continue planting Poiema Church in Medina to make disciples of Jesus. Your support and care is greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow we will be continuing our sermon series Colossians: Christ Above All meditating on ch.1 vs 15-17. Come join us as we gather for worship on the Lord’s Day and practice what we will be doing with one another in Christ for eternity.

Reformation Celebration 2025 was a huge success. We had such an encouraging time together and learned a good deal about the definite scope of the atonement of Christ From God’s Word. I can’t wait until next years event looking at irresistible grace.

We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow for Poiēma Church. We will continue our verse by verse exposition of Colossians 1:10-12 at our worship gathering. Then we will join several other likeminded churches in the evening at the Reformation Celebration. Soli Deo Gloria!
