There’s something special about VBS. A week spent together creates opportunities to grow faith, build friendships, and make memories that last long after summer ends. ❤️
This year our young chefs are heading into the kitchen for a faith-filled adventure! 🍽️✨
Cooking is more than mixing ingredients—it takes time, creativity, care, and understanding what each ingredient brings to the table.
Faith grows the same way! During VBS, kids will tie on their aprons and discover spiritual habits that help them grow closer to God. Through Old Testament stories featuring Jacob, Moses, Deborah, and more, they’ll learn:

🎁 God gave us gifts that make a difference
🤝 God makes us stronger together
📣 We make God known when we share our story

It's Family Sunday! Bring the whole family to big church to worship together during one of our four services! 🙌 We've got busy bags for the kids and we welcome the wiggles and giggles! 😆

Preacher Mike will be delivering his final sermon before retirement! 📖 We will celebrate him and his 40+ years in ministry! 👏 You won't want to miss it!

Stop by the commons between services (1-4pm or 5:30-7pm) for an open-house celebration of Preacher Mike's retirement! 👋 He has dedicated his life to pointing people to Jesus and we want to honor his faithful service to kingdom work! 🫶

What an incredible weekend! 🙌

We had over 450 volunteers come out on Friday and Saturday to pack over 106,000 meals! 🍽

We were challenged by Preacher Mike to have compassion for those in need around us. ❤️

We sang praises to Jesus, our King! 🎤

We witness a soul saved, a life changed, through baptism! 💦

We welcomed Dustin as our new worship lead as Eric shared that God has called him to another worship position in GA. 👏

And we joined together in a prayer walk around the land beside us, asking for God's leading in the future of Compass! 🙏
