Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and willingness to lay down their lives for others will never be forgotten. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

As we reflect on Memorial Day, we’re reminded of the words of Jesus in John 15:13: β€œGreater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Their sacrifice points us to the ultimate love and sacrifice found in Christ, who gave His life so that we could have hope, freedom, and eternal life. Today, we remember with gratitude and honor.

What an amazing Sunday at Journey Church!! Pastor Penny brought a powerful word reminding us that God often uses seasons of testing, transition, and stretching to prepare us for greater purpose, and that stepping into a new season with Him requires obedience, surrender, and a willingness to answer His call! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ‘πŸ»

We also celebrated those who completed the Purple Book Class and took another step in building a strong foundation in Jesus and a heart for serving others with purpose! On top of that, we honored our high school and college graduates, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of them. Your Journey family celebrates you and believes this next season is filled with purpose, growth, and the hand of God over your life! πŸŽ“πŸŽ‰
