A lot happened today! Our team from spent the day laying block and building strong, solid walls for Casa 21.

We also had one of our team members, Dani, spend time at the clinic today with Alondra and Juli. We love seeing our friends experience more of the programs and services we have to offer!

And that’s not all! This hardworking team spent the afternoon pouring the foundation for one of the houses we’ll be working on in the coming weeks. What an incredible day of serving, building, and loving our community!

We are extremely proud of all the hard work our team put in today. We pray for a good night’s rest and for God to give us the strength we need to serve again tomorrow!

Casa #21 has a beautiful new floor, thanks to our amazing team from ! The weather couldn’t have been better for our first chilly fall morning here in Reynosa. We are so thankful for their hard work, dedication, and servant hearts as they bless the Ledezma Duran family with the beginning of their new home! We’re already looking forward to another day of adventure tomorrow!

Who wouldn’t be excited to have our great team from in North Carolina here with us this week!

Even though it’s been a rainy couple of days, they are excited and ready to get to work here in Mexico. This week, they’ll use their gifts to bless our community and share the love of God with everyone!

Please pray for this team throughout the week, as well as for our staff and volunteers serving here in Mexico. We’re so grateful to have them with us!

Thank you, Christ Lutheran!

The past week has been amazing! From building a beautiful Casa # 20 for the Jesús González, to playing with kids at the nutrition program, to connecting with the community of Reynosa, your time here made a lasting impact. Through your prayers and your decision to say yes to coming to Reynosa, you made a difference in every person you spent time with, and in so many more ways that you may never see.

Thank you so much for serving, loving, and sharing your time with us. We are so grateful for each of you and hope to see you again very soon!

We love a good Roof Day!

This morning, our team from Christ Lutheran joined us for an incredible day of building, serving, and making memories together. Our volunteers and staff have Roof Day down to a science, making each one an unforgettable experience for everyone involved! We are so blessed that God watched over everyone on the construction site today at Casa # 13, a home built by our friends at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC.

We can’t wait for the next Roof Day to get messy, have some fun, and spend another great day serving alongside amazing people!

Yesterday, our incredible two volunteers from Christ Lutheran Church were busy from the start of the morning! They helped with the nutrition program, dropped off grocery deliveries, and even poured the ring over at Casa # 13. What an amazing day!

Moments like these are what make serving together so special. Getting to see a need being met right before our eyes is something that truly has to be experienced in person. These two really showed up with 110% of everything they had to extend a hand, a prayer, and a hug1

Today we prepped, laid block, and poured the columns at Casa 20! We had an absolute blast working alongside our friends from Christ Lutheran Church.

What a blessing it is to lay each block, one at a time, as we build the walls of this incredible home. We love seeing how God brings us all together to work as a team, put in the hard work, all to help make a difference!

What a day to see God at work!

Our team from Christ Lutheran got straight to work this morning, pouring the floor at Casa #20 for the Gonzales Hernandez family. We worked together as a team, united in Christ - “Unidos en Cristo!” The fun continued in the afternoon as we tied rebar to prepare for the roof we’ll be pouring later this week!

We can’t thank y’all enough for being here with us and serving alongside us. We’re excited to see where we see God at work tomorrow!
