This week, March 22, 2026, our Coffee & Chat will be based on Season 2 Episode 4 of The Chosen Series. In this episode, titled “The Perfect Opportunity,” Jesus forgives the sins of a paralyzed man before healing him physically, demonstrating the profound power of forgiveness and the priority of spiritual healing over physical restoration. The episode explores themes of faith, courage, and the transformative impact of Jesus’ love, as each character grapples with their understanding of sin, forgiveness, and the divine opportunities presented by Jesus’ presence. This episode gives us the opportunity to Identify someone in our lives whom we need to forgive or seek forgiveness from. Take a step this week to reach out, whether through a conversation, a letter, or a simple act of kindness, and offer or ask for forgiveness. Reflect on how this act of grace impacts your heart and relationships. Come and join us as we gather at 10 a.m. after our worship service.

This Sunday, March 8, 2026 we will be viewing and discussing The Chosen, Season 2, Episode 2, "I Saw You." In this episode we meet two more of Jesus' disciples, Nathanael and Philip. We will also see more of Matthew's personality and delve into the hopelessness Nathanael experienced before Philip tells him about Jesus and to "Come and See." We are definitely going deeper into each personality. It’s like layers of an onion being peeled away. This is not only revealing more about the Disciples, but this seems to be like God is revealing more of us as well. As we see each of their faults and frailties, we see more and more of ourselves. It’s almost like there is a gentle conviction of the Holy Spirit as we watch the Disciples learn (and not learn) from their mistakes. When Jesus corrects the Disciples, it sometimes feels that He is talking directly to us. This is a learning journey, one that is humbling and is bringing us closer to who God wants us to be. What about you?
Come and join us, "Come and See" as we explore this interpretation of Jesus' walk here on earth with his disciples and how his ministry affected others. 10 a.m. following worship.

"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? Luke: 15:4
This Sunday, February 22, our Coffee & Chat meeting will be based on The Chosen, Season 2, Episode 1 entitled "Thunder". Tension builds among the disciples as they wrestle with the increasing fame of Jesus in Samaria. Jesus rebukes Big James and John for their prejudice and, after a near-violent encounter, gives them a new nickname. We get to meet the culprit in the robbery and beating of the man in the Good Samaritan story and be surprised by the compassion Jesus shows him. We also get an inside perspective of what John was possibly thinking when he started writing the Book of John by referring back to creation. Come and join in as we begin Season 2 and learn more about the interactions between Jesus and his disciples as he spreads the Good News that He is the Messiah and the Kingdom of God. 10:00 following worship service and coffee and snacks as always.

This Sunday, February 8, we will be having Coffee & Chat and will be viewing The Chosen Season 1, Episode 8 ("I Am He"). In this episode, Jesus breaks social barriers to reveal himself as the Messiah to a broken, ostracized Samaritan woman at a well, following a tense dinner with outcasts in Capernaum. It highlights Jesus seeking the outcast and offering grace, applying to themes of redemption, overcoming shame, and radical inclusivity.
Like the Samaritan woman (Photina), shame from past mistakes can make us feel unworthy, but Jesus seeks us out to offer "living water" and a new identity. All we need do is trust Him and understand he loves everyone, no matter what our past has been or what we've done. The "living water" makes us new and guides us in our new life living for Him. 10 a.m. following worship. Coffee & Snacks will be provided.

This Sunday, February 1, Coffee & Chat will be viewing Season 1, Episode 7 of The Chosen entitled "Invitations". We will also be having Coffee & Chat the following Sunday, February 8 due to the cancellation we had last week.
