These beautiful red maples were donated many years ago by the late JJ Smith in memory of his wife Zelda (Minn) Smith, both members of our congregation.
They sure have grown over time.
Feel free to share any nice or fun memories of Jack and/or Minn.

June 12,2026 Bible reading Matthew 9:35- 10:8
Todays verse Matthew 9:37, "Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."
Jesus was speaking of the need to share the Good News of salvation from sin and eternal life with Him. We are to share Jesus' love with those around us. Go in His strength!
Father God, thank you for saving us and the constant love of Jesus that surrounds us. Amen.

Bible reading Romans 4:13-25
Todays verse Romans 4:25,"He (Jesus)was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification."
No matter where you find yourself in life today, always remember that coming to Jesus in loving faith will see your sins forgiven. The result is that you will be free from sin and Satan and able to live a justified life by faith in Christ. I pray that you will draw close to Him today.
Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice on the cross so that I may be free of sin. Lead me today. Amen.

May 29,2026 Bible reading: I Corinthians 13:11-14
Todays verse: I Cor.13:11, "Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And this God of love and peace will be with you."
We all have days when it is hard to rejoice, don't we? The world presses its demands on us at work and at home. Please remember what God has promised in this verse. Be encouraging to others and live your life in peace. God is with you.
Thank you Father for all of your blessings and peace in my life. I know that you see me. Amen.

May 15, 2026 Bible reading - Acts 1:6-14

Today's verse Acts 1:14 "They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brothers."

What a lesson for us, these people had been with Jesus, seen him minister, crucified, and now gone up to glory in heaven. They gathered and prayed. Prayer must be our first and most natural response to a need in our lives or for others.

Dear God, fill me with your Spirit and may we always pray for your will. Amen.

May 8, 2026 Bible Reading I Peter 3:13-22

Today's verse: I Peter 3:13,"Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?"

Don't become discouraged when you help someone and share the love of Christ with them and they appear not to listen. We are told to share Jesus and then God will use our testimony to touch their heart for salvation. KEEP on praying and keep on for Jesus..

Thank you God that you see and know me and lead me in service for you. Amen.

May 1, 2026: Bible Reading John 14:1-14
Today's verse John 14:6, Jesus answered,"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Jesus was comforting and teaching his disciples before his crucifixion. Even though they were with him and had seen all the miracles He did, they still doubted and were afraid. What are we to learn? Jesus said,"I am the truth and the life." Never fear and lose your faith. Always trust in Christ and pray to Him. He cares for you.
Thank you Jesus, for always seeing us and caring for us. Amen.

April 24, 2026: Bible reading I Peter 1:17 - 25

Today's verse I Peter 1:21, "Through Him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God."

There is no better foundation to build your life on than God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Stay true in faith and refuse the temptations of Satan and his evil world. Keep looking up to God and thank Him for all you are and do.

Dear God, I sing praises to you. Thank you for my salvation through Christ Jesus. Amen.

April 17, 2026 Bible reading Luke 24:13 - 35

Today's verse Luke 24:25 -26 "He said to them," How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter is glory? "

Read God's word and know that it is true. We are cautioned to read and believe in Jesus as the Messiah and Coming King. So don't hesitate if you have never expressed your faith in Christ, do it now. Tomorrow may be too late.
Thank you Jesus for sufferring death on the cross so that I could be saved. Amen..
