Yesterday our littlest friends learned that God’s love for us NEVER changes—even if we make mistakes! They worked together on coming up with mistakes we might make, like not listening or arguing with siblings, and covered them up with hearts that said “Jesus Loves Me.”

We handpicked a curriculum for our kiddos that clearly and easily explains the Gospel in a way that they can relate to. Our kids aren’t just the future of the church — they’re the church of right now! ❤️

We are grateful to our volunteers who made what could have been a huge ordeal into a quick one(ish 🤣) day’s job. Out with the old, in with the new! That being said, our double classroom will be unavailable tomorrow. Adult Bible Study at 9am will meet in the Conference Room.

🚨🚨 Parents, our normal pickup area will change tomorrow. We’re unveiling our new HCKids Zone hallway a week early! Nursery will be in the Lamb Room 🐑 and HCKids Church will be in the Fish Room 🐟! Check-in will occur as usual.

When your rain date is rainy, you make the best of it! 🌧️ We are proud to partner with Monclova Primary and Anthony Wayne Local Schools each year for the Back to School Bash at Chateau Estates. Kiddos get school supplies, Spirit Wear, and Heritage provides dinner for the whole family. This year a local family donated a bounce house for the evening!

We love being able to talk with families, letting them know we are invested in this community and their children. ❤️✝️

Today we wanted to share the uncut version of “The Rubber Band,” a sermon from the late Pastor Robert L. Fry. This was filmed at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, when we closed our doors for what would be several months.

It was a dark time for so many people. But we knew if we stayed connected and stayed centered in Christ, it was going to be okay. When you feel alone, remember that not only is God with you, but he wants to use you in big ways.

We thought this message was an appropriate one for this week.

If Pastor Fry’s homecoming services were the first time you’ve been to church in a really long time, remember that you’re always welcome here. We hope to see you.
