This Saturday (Jan 24), weather permitting we will hold the first (of 2026) semi-annual 1-Day Retreat Inside Toledo Correctional. This event is open to all Kairos graduates, within the security guidelines of the prison. We will spend the day listening to a series of very brief talks on a mater pertinent to our growth in Christ, discuss the talks, have lunch, sing a few songs and generally spend a wonderful day with our inside brothers. Please keep the team and our inside brothers in your prayers.

Weekend #40 is "in the books". While it was a challenging weekend in many ways, the unconditional love of Jesus was shown in many ways to the 24 men who attending the weekend. They consisted of men from many different faith backgrounds. But they ALL went back to the blocks knowing absolutely that they are loved by the King!

Well, tomorrow's the day. 29 volunteers will carry a lot of cookies and the love of Jesus into Toledo Correctional for a 3 1/2 day weekend with 24 residents. The residents consist of men from many different faith backgrounds. Our truck is all loaded and the setup crew enters the prison at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Please keep the 24 men and the team in your prayers.

The team for weekend #40 at Toledo Correctional met for the first time this past Saturday. It was a great team building experience with several first time members. However the enemy has been busy working to derail the weekend: we have already lost several team members, some in tragic circumstances. Please keep this team in your prayers that we may hold firm and remain faithful.

Weekend #40 is coming up quickly: Sept 25-28. Team formation meetings begin in just TWO WEEKS! Kairos has often been referred to as the “cookie ministry”.  Homemade cookies are a small thing to us on the outside, but to someone who has been incarcerated for a long time, they are priceless.  The fact that someone cared enough to actually bake a cookie for them is very profound.  The Kai...

The a-Day Retreat at Toledo Correctional on Saturday was absolutely awesome! We had 45 residents attend. Pretty amazing when you consider that the prison usually only allows a maximum of 24 level 4 "residents" to attend any function. The talks were wonderful and heartfelt, sparking a level of conversation among all of the men that I have seldom seen inside. Toward the end of the day a resident who was not a Kairos graduate came to the chapel having just been notified that his father had passed away. The entire room circled around this young man, put hands on him and prayed for him. The Body of Christ is definitely at work inside of ToCI!

Over the years since our first Kairos Inside weekend at Toledo Correctional in the fall of 2023, we have touched the lives of 1,241 men who have experienced a Kairos weekend! Some just went through the motions, but many were changed forever!

Saturday July 26 we will host a ! Day Retreat inside Toledo Correctional. A team of 15-20 volunteers will spend the day with a projected 40+ Kairos graduates, sharing brief talks on "Practical Christian Encouragement" and sharing our thoughts on these talks. And, naturally we will also have a great lunch and a bit of music to brighten the day. Please keep the team and these 40 residents in your prayer that God's voice would be heard and His love would be felt.
