Sometimes the intersection of change and opportunity is God saying, "I have a great work for you to do."

When change comes, it’s easy to give up, get discouraged, or let uncertainty keep us from moving forward. But what if the unexpected isn’t the end of the vision God has given you?

Even when you can’t see what’s ahead, you can still choose to trust God.

🏗️ ROOM FOR MORE UPDATE! 👀

We’re believing God for what’s ahead as we continue making room for more at Calvary! But this project is about so much more than a building. It’s about the people who will walk through these doors, the lives that will be changed, and the families who will find hope in Jesus.

As we look toward the future, we’re asking our Calvary family to join us in prayer! 🙏

🚗 Pray for the parking lot to be FULL — full of people ready to encounter Jesus.

❤️ Pray for life change — for the hearts that will be reached, the families that will be restored, and the lives that will be transformed through this building.

We’re not just building a space. We’re making room for what God wants to do next!

Let’s believe together for ROOM FOR MORE! 🙌

“Life won’t always be perfect, and things won’t always be easy. And sometimes the answer, if you have faith, is just to spring into action and grab a butter knife.”
- Pastor Chad Gilligan

We hope you enjoyed this message and will join us this Sunday for more from our series 'Finding Favor'.

THE 2010s: A FAITHFUL MOVE FORWARD 🙌

A new chapter in Calvary’s story began with a faithful move to Conant Street! What was once an old movie theater became a place of worship, community, and life change right in the heart of the community.

In 2012, we celebrated our first Christmas in the new building, creating memories and traditions in a new home. Then, in 2017, we took another step forward with the first renovation of the kids wing, making more room for the next generation to grow in faith.

Through every move, every renovation, and every new season, God has remained faithful. And the story is still being written!

THE 2000s: DREAM AGAIN ✨

A new decade. A new chapter. And a fresh reminder to Dream Again.
In 2004, Pastor Doug Clay was elected to serve as District Superintendent of the Ohio Assemblies of God, stepping into a new season of national leadership. At Calvary, the church looked within for its next leader.

After serving faithfully for more than six years as Calvary’s Kids Pastor, Pastor Chad Gilligan was chosen as the new Lead Pastor, guiding the church into its next season of ministry.

In 2008, Calvary launched the Dream Again campaign, challenging the church to believe bigger and trust God for the future. And when the mortgage was finally burned? That was a milestone worth celebrating!

So much of what we see at Calvary today really started to take shape in this decade. From new leadership to new dreams, the 2000s were another chapter in the story of 75 years of God’s faithfulness.

💭 What do you remember from the 2000s at Calvary?
