Arriving home from camp is always special. Showers feel more cleansing. Beds feel more restful. Air conditioning feels more… cooler. Kids Camp was such a great week. I am not going to say we are looking forward to next year just yet. The dirt and the tiredness from this year have to wear off first. But what a great week it was.

Sorry this is so late but the last full day of Kids Camp is here. Activities have been going for a while and the kids have been having fun.
Last night we sang good songs and listened to a great sermon preached by Brother Bobby Bear during the evening service. It was a good day.
Today will be the hottest day and it is hot already. But the kids are all in good moods and ready to have fun.

Second full day at Kids Camp has begun. We had a great breakfast this morning. But any time biscuits are involved, it is a great breakfast. We are looking forward to another day of Jesus and fun.
Everything is going well. Thank you all for praying for this camp and these kids!

Good morning from Kids Camp!
Things are off to a great start!
The first full day is here, and we are excited to see what God has in store.
Last night we enjoyed gathering together to worship through song and scripture. It was a great sermon, by the way.
I hope to keep up with the updates!

Easter. Misunderstood by some. Rejected by others. But to us… Christians… it is everything. Everything.
It’s not about the bunny or the eggs, or even the food. Man, what good food.
But those words… “He is not here, but He has risen,” are the very foundation of our faith.
Jesus is not here. He has risen.
What a wonderful reminder of resurrection. A wonderful reminder that what we believe is real. A wonderful reminder that even if we don’t believe… it is still real.
A real Savior. A real Cross. A real Resurrection.
We have an opportunity this Sunday… much like any other Sunday… to celebrate the reality of Easter… the greatest event that has ever happened for the benefit of mankind.
The Lamb that takes away the sin of the world is alive!

You are invited to church this Sunday to celebrate… celebrate Easter… celebrate Jesus… once dead… now living.
