We are building something bigger than any one person or organization.

The AGAPE Community Volunteer Corps is being developed to strengthen the people and organizations that spend every day strengthening everyone else.

August 26, 2026 - Devotional: You Are Not Waiting on God, God Is Preparing the Release

Scripture Focus
β€œFor the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it. Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3.

There are seasons when you have prayed, obeyed, sacrificed, prepared, and done everything you know God instructed you to do, yet what He showed you still has not fully appeared. That space between promise and manifestation can make you question whether you heard God correctly.

But delay does not automatically mean denial.

Some things cannot be released simply because you are ready to receive them. God also prepares the people, resources, relationships, opportunities, and circumstances connected to what He has spoken. What appears to be inactivity may actually be divine coordination.

Joseph received the dream long before he entered the palace. David received the anointing long before he sat on the throne. Abraham received the promise long before Isaac was born. Their waiting seasons did not cancel God’s Word. They developed the capacity required to carry what the Word would produce.

This is why you cannot measure God’s faithfulness by today’s visible evidence.

You may see an unfinished vision. God sees the completed assignment.

You may see insufficient resources. God already knows where provision will come from.

You may see closed doors. God knows which door must remain closed so that you recognize the one He has appointed.

You may see people walking away. God may be clearing space for those assigned to the next season.

Do not allow frustration to make you manufacture what God promised to provide. There is a difference between moving in faith and moving because you are tired of waiting. Faith obeys God’s timing. Anxiety attempts to create its own.

Keep building what He told you to build. Keep preparing. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep strengthening your capacity. Do not abandon an instruction simply because manifestation has taken longer than expected.

There comes a moment when preparation and appointed time meet.

What required years of preparation can suddenly move within days. One conversation can change an opportunity. One relationship can open access. One decision can shift an entire season. God does not need a long time to accomplish something. He requires the appointed time.

Prophetic Word for Today
The Lord says, Do not mistake preparation for abandonment. I have been arranging what you could not arrange and reaching places your hands could not reach. Some doors remained closed because what was behind them could not sustain where I am taking you. Continue preparing for what I showed you. The season ahead will require the capacity I have been developing within you. Do not force what I have promised. When My appointed time meets your preparation, what seemed delayed will begin to move.

Today’s Declaration
I will not become discouraged because everything has not manifested yet. I trust God’s timing and God’s process. I will remain faithful to the instruction He has given me. I will prepare for what I prayed for, steward what is already in my hands, and refuse to manufacture what only God can establish. The vision will speak at the appointed time.

Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, strengthen me while I wait for the manifestation of what You have spoken. Deliver me from impatience, frustration, comparison, and the temptation to force doors You have not opened. Give me discernment to recognize what You are developing in me during this season. Prepare my character, capacity, relationships, resources, and thinking for what is coming. Help me remain faithful with what is already in my hands while trusting You with what has not yet appeared. I declare that I will not abandon the vision in the preparation season. I trust Your Word, I trust Your wisdom, and I trust Your appointed time. In Jesus’ name, Amen πŸ™πŸΎ

August 22, 2026 - Devotional: When Peace Requires a Different Response

Scripture Focus
β€œIf it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18.

There comes a point in spiritual maturity when God begins to teach us that peace does not always come because everyone around us changes. Sometimes peace comes because we change the way we respond.

We cannot control another person’s attitude. We cannot force reconciliation. We cannot make people communicate honestly, participate willingly, apologize sincerely, or recognize the damage their choices have caused. But we can decide that somebody else’s dysfunction will not dictate our character.

Romans 12:18 contains an important phrase, β€œas much as lieth in you.” God holds us accountable for our portion. We can pursue peace, speak truth, establish healthy boundaries, forgive, pray, and refuse retaliation. But reconciliation requires participation from more than one person.

Sometimes maturity looks like refusing the argument.

Sometimes it means not answering the post.

Sometimes it means allowing people to experience the consequences of the choices they continue to make.

And sometimes it means loving someone while refusing to participate in the cycle that keeps producing the same pain.

Jesus was never controlled by the emotions of the people around Him. He knew when to speak. He knew when to remain silent. He knew when to confront. He knew when to withdraw. His peace was rooted in obedience to the Father, not cooperation from everybody around Him.

That is the posture God is developing in us.

We are not called to become cold. We are called to become governed.

We are not called to stop loving. We are called to love with wisdom.

We are not called to ignore wrong. We are called to respond without becoming what wounded us.

Prophetic Word for Today
The Lord is teaching you how to remain steady in environments you cannot control. Do not allow another person’s anger, withdrawal, accusation, rejection, or dysfunction to pull you out of the posture God has established in you. There are situations you will not overcome by arguing harder. You will overcome them by remaining submitted to God, discerning your response, and refusing to surrender your peace.

Today’s Declaration
I will not be governed by another person’s behavior. I will walk in truth, wisdom, love, and self control. I will do what God requires of me and release what belongs to others. I choose peace without compromising truth, forgiveness without enabling dysfunction, and love without abandoning wisdom.

Prayer
Father, govern my heart today. Give me wisdom to know when to speak, when to remain silent, when to pursue reconciliation, and when to establish boundaries. Search me and correct anything in me that contributes to division. Heal every place where disappointment has become resentment. Help me walk in love without surrendering discernment. I release people and situations I cannot control into Your hands. Let the peace of Christ rule in me, regardless of what happens around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

AUGUST 18, 2026 - DEVOTIONAL: When God Starts Pulling the Pieces Together

Scripture Focus β€œAnd we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.

There are seasons when life feels scattered. Relationships shift. Plans change. Doors close. Resources seem disconnected from the vision. People you expected to walk with you may step away, while people you never considered suddenly appear. It can feel like everything is moving in different directions, but God is not confused by the pieces.

Today, the Lord is reminding you that scattered does not mean abandoned. What looks disconnected from your perspective may already be coming into alignment in His hands. God knows how to connect the right people, opportunities, resources, timing, and relationships without forcing anything. Some things had to move because they were occupying a place reserved for what belongs in your next season.

Do not become discouraged because everything has not come together yet. Preparation often happens before manifestation. God may be strengthening your capacity, correcting your priorities, exposing weak foundations, and teaching you how to steward what you have been asking Him to release. The delay may not be denial. It may be development.

This is also a season to guard your heart from unnecessary warfare. Not every disagreement requires a response. Not every misunderstanding requires an explanation. Not every person who separates from you is your enemy. Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Refuse rivalry, offense, bitterness, and retaliation. Protect your peace while allowing God to reveal what belongs in your life.

There is a divine gathering happening. God is bringing workers to assignments. He is connecting vision with provision. He is positioning people for employment, ministry, business, restoration, and service. What has seemed slow can begin moving quickly when the right pieces come into alignment.

Prophetic Word for Today
Do not force what God is arranging. Do not chase what He has allowed to move. Stay obedient, stay prayerful, and keep building. The Lord is bringing order to what has felt scattered. The right doors will open. The right people will recognize the assignment. The resources will meet the vision. And what once looked disconnected will begin to make sense.

Today’s Declaration
I will not be distracted by what appears unfinished. God is ordering my steps, healing what needs healing, removing what cannot continue, and bringing the right pieces together. I will walk in peace, wisdom, obedience, and expectation. I trust the timing of God, and I believe that what He has ordained for my life will come together according to His purpose.

Prayer
Father, give me grace to trust You while the pieces are still moving. Keep my heart free from offense and my mind free from fear. Give me discernment concerning relationships, opportunities, and assignments. Prepare me for what I have prayed for, and bring into alignment everything necessary for Your purpose to be fulfilled. I will not force what You are arranging. I trust Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen πŸ™πŸΎ
