Not just a church with good music, programs, or a full room.

A healthy church.

This Sunday we begin a brand-new series through the book of Acts called:

DNA — What Makes a Church Healthy

Over the next several weeks, we’re going to look at the things that were built into the life of the early church and ask one important question:

Is this in our DNA?

We’ll talk about leadership, the gospel, prayer, devotion, generosity, evangelism, mission, and what it looks like to be the church Jesus has called us to be.

And we’re kicking off the series with a special ordination service as we set apart a deacon and an elder for ministry.

This is going to be an important season for Faith Journey Church.

This Sunday will be a special day in the life of Faith Journey Church!

We will ordain John Boone as a deacon and Steve Powers as an elder, setting them apart for the work God has called them to do. We are thankful for their faithfulness, their servant hearts, and their commitment to strengthening our church.

We are also excited to have Jonathan and Katlyn Boone leading us in worship!

Join us as we worship together, pray over these men and their families, and celebrate what God is doing at Faith Journey Church.

This Sunday, we’re wrapping up A Fruitful Summer with “Just Because You Can Doesn’t Mean You Should.”

We’ll talk about how the Holy Spirit helps us surrender our habits, desires, and everyday choices to Jesus—even when obedience is hard.

Have you ever reached a place where you thought…
“I don’t know if I can keep doing this.”

Sometimes life gets heavy.
Sometimes you get tired of waiting.
Tired of praying the same prayer.
Tired of carrying what nobody else sees.

And sometimes you just want to say, “Stop. Let me off. I didn’t sign up for this.”

This Sunday at Faith Journey Church, we’re talking about FAITHFULNESS and what God says to us When You Feel Like Quitting.

The good news is, faithfulness isn’t about digging deeper and trying harder. It’s fruit the Holy Spirit produces in us as we keep walking with Jesus.

If you’re tired, discouraged, or wondering how much longer you can keep going, I really believe this message is for you.
