“I just want to help my children with their homework.”
It was a simple sentence, but behind it was a dream Mona* had quietly carried for years.
She had spent evenings watching her child struggle with homework, desperate to pull up a chair beside them. But the words on the page didn’t make sense; she was unable to read, unable to help.
Then, during a Strong Families class in Cancún, Mexico, one tearful confession revealed something important:
Mona wasn’t the only mother carrying this same longing.
