This week’s cold has a way of changing our routines. We bundle up a little tighter, check on neighbors a little more, and feel extra grateful for heat, shelter, and hot coffee (or cocoa) ☕❄️
Moments like this remind us of something deeper. We are all looking for warmth not just for our bodies but for our souls.
The Bible tells us, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Long before we ever reached out to God, He moved toward us. In a world that can feel harsh and isolating, Jesus stepped into our brokenness to offer forgiveness, hope, and new life.
If this weather has you slowing down, maybe it is also an invitation to reflect, to reach out, or to remember that true comfort is not found in circumstances but in Christ. His love does not flicker. His grace does not run out. His promise of salvation is still open to all.
Stay warm. Check on one another. And remember, no matter how cold it gets outside, there is a Savior who brings everlasting warmth to the heart. ❤️
